Books Review

Posted by bashmvp on May 24, 2007

For the last two weeks, me and my family have been buying all the motivational financial books including Robert. T Kiyosaki book. I have read his first book that is Rich Dad Poor Dad. The books is a wake-up call book for many people who just working for someone and did not have any financial freedom. The book open my mind on how to earn money through other Halal and legal source.

For someone to become rich, they must change their mindset from Poor people to rich people mind. Robert talks about his two fathers advice that represent two mindset of people around you. I am recommending this book to all of readers. It is a must read book and for a teenager like me, it is very useful.

Referring to the last post, i think this book change my father mind from becoming the employee of PJH to become a financial planner.

The rich become rich from their mind and not from their money

AC win

Posted by bashmvp on May 24, 2007

Milan got their revenge at last by beating Liverpool in the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE final this morning in Malaysian time. I am not the fan for both team and the regular reader will know that.

Earlier I have sense that Milan will won just because they have Kaka and want to revenge their defeat last 2 season. Some people will say that Milan did not deserve to win because the scandal that happen to Italy football last year that involving their club but I think the scandal make Italy football grow stronger. They won the World Cup Final last year and their representative club, Milan won them the European Champions League Cup.

My latest new is that I may look into the prospect of becoming a Financial Planner to help other people solve their financial misery. I look into that prospect because my father make a live changing decision to not renew the contract with Putrajaya Holding and becoming a Financial Planner.

Financial Planning

Posted by bashmvp on March 19, 2007

Do you have a financial planner?

Nowadays. Lots of people cannot plan their financial correctly. If they plan it, they may fail or did not do what they are plan. Thats why we all need financial planner nowadays. We need someone who know all this stuff. We need someone who can guide us correctly to achieve our dream.

Though in Malaysia, financial planner is something new especially to Malays. Chinese people is more advance in financial planning as they have started century ago. Just look at the financial gap between Malays and Chinese, the Chinese rarely have financial problem. They can buy big cars, big house because they have their financial planner. That is the force behind their success.

Recently, Malay started use financial planner service. They are very fortunate to have the one and only true blue Malay financial planner that is Aziz Ibrahim CFP. Lots of people problems that he have solve. Mostly have pay all the debts, can start having a healthy savings and buy some property. My father as an example. Before he get his service, he have a lots of debts, mainly credit cards and personal loans. We don’t have any house but only dreams. After month of using Aziz Ibrahim plan. My father have pay all the credit cards debt, can buy a house in Putrajaya and have a 4 figure saving monthly. Thats like a miracle.

The Good and The Bad of PLKN Programme

Posted by bashmvp on February 24, 2007

PLKN receive many criticism and praised from parent, press, government and opposition.

Here my opinion on the positive and the negative side of the PLKN.

Positive:

  1. Give valuable experience to the trainee as they do activities that they usually don’t such as marching, using a M-16 machine gun, jungle trekking and such.
  2. Meet a lot of friend and all kind of friend and make friend with people from other region and other races.
  3. Prevent them from making waste full activities during their holiday.
  4. Give them the “Semangat Cintakan Negara” attitude.
  5. Get RM 100 allowance a month. One PLKN course is 3 month.

Negative:

  1. Many people die during PLKN for various reason
  2. Bullying happen in PLKN.
  3. Some camp did not have aduquate facilities. (My friend told me this !!!)
  4. They can make more money if they did not attend PLKN. Its true, work as a cashier at A&W at Alamanda Putrajaya, you can get at least RM 500 a month.
  5. Rape cases occur and incompetent trainer.

So there a pros and cons on the PLKN or NS programme but I have an idea here. Instead of sending a good behaving teens to join PLKN, why not send the ‘mat rempit’ to the PLKN and brain wash them as they have no respect to people life and taking risk themselves. They did not have respect to law and is a disgrace to Malaysia.

The world polluters

Posted by bashmvp on February 13, 2007

China will become the biggest polluters if they did not abandon the power-plant that generated by coal-burning.

Mapping out alternatives for a “cleaner, safer” energy supply, the agency is expected to advocate greatly improving energy efficiency, increasing renewable energy generation, and building more nuclear power plants.

The report comes as 189 countries meet in Kenya for a United Nations conference on the Kyoto Protocol, now the only legally binding, international agreement to start reducing global greenhouse gas emissions over the next eight years.

The protocol requires 35 developed nations to cut their emissions by an average of 5 per cent by 2012, but does not impose any limits on developing countries, including China and India, based on an agreement that wealthy nations should act first.

It is everybody responsibility to cut the CO2 emmision. Stop open burning, reduce smoking frequency, use power-saving bulb and many more.
